My first personal project of the year: I designed a calendar for myself and made it from scratch. I aimed for a minimal, clear design with a beautiful typography and lots of room for writing down tasks, ideas, lists – and whatever else comes into my mind. I made quires in two colors: light grey recycling paper for the basic pages and a mint green copy paper for the monthly overviews and special pages. The only other color throughout the calendar is black, as in the hardcover, the head and tail bands, the ribbon and the thread. It was also my first time trying to learn bookbinding.
